Ministry Update

The Owens family and ministries are thankful for God’s blessings upon us. We are happy to announce a new addition to our happy flock. Our newest granddaughter, Judianna Schery Owens, was born on July 13, 2022. She was and is healthy, and is as cute as a button! Our family enjoyed a vacation together in the summer of 2022 in the Atlantic Beach area of North Carolina. We rented a 7 bedroom house and had a week of love, fun and food. We are excited about the growth of our church, the Twin Rivers Baptist Church of New Bern, NC. We are also excited about our newest book produced through Owens Publications called, “God’s Perspective on Man’s Emotions”.  We, without hesitation, still stand for the old-time religion. We make no apologies about our belief in the KJB, separation, and the local New Testament Baptist Church. Mrs. Owens and I celebrated our 41st Wedding Anniversary in May, and we believe in the sanctity of marriage more now than ever.  Mrs. Owens loves teaching her Home Economics class at TRBA. If ever there was a time for those who believe right to stand (humble yet tall) it is now!
